Easter

Easter was so much fun this year. I had lots of different things planned out for it, including going to Rexburg, but then I hurt my toe and everything changed. I didn't even get to do my easter shopping until the day before, when wal mart was almost emptied out from candy. So I got home Saturday night after a LONG day and started to put everything together. After Tiffany went to bed, we started to put the eggs all over the house.
The next morning she woke up and started seeing eggs all around and just went crazy. We left her bucket by her door, and she quickly grabed and started gathering all the eggs. It was so cute. She didn't even notice her basket sitting on her table until she was almost done finding the eggs.

But as soon as she paid attention to her basket, the first thing she saw was the little Jesse and Buz from Toy Story. She had me opened it right away and didn't part with them for the rest of the day. She ate all the candy we would let her, but Jesse and Buz were always with her.

We couldn't even get her to take a decent picture.

I wanted to wait until we were all ready for Church, but that day Bryan was going to leave for Rexburg, so we just got it all done in the morning. The Brazillian bunny was THE BEST! He brought us a bag full of goodies and our easter eggs.

In the end though, it turned out Bryan couldn't leave us just yet, so he left at 4 am the next day to make it to work in time. Now we start the living apart stage again until we can get moved up there. It's so hard...and even harder because I'm so far along in my pregnancy and seem to always get hurt or sick. I can't wait for this next month or so to be over!

Vovos

With all the sickness that has been going around here, one of the only things I have been able to do is use the computer, and still I haven't updated my blog in a very long time.
My parents arrived the first week of April, and it has been so much fun. Tiffany loves her grandparents SO MUCH! She goes crazy whenever they are around. We enjoyed having them with us for a week, then we went up to Rexburg and they stayed there. We had plans to have them come back but my dad had some emergencies at work and had the leave the second week he was here. Needless to say it was hard. It was very unexpected and we just weren't ready to say goodbye. Hopefully he will come back on August, so he can play more soccer with Tiffany with the ball he got her. But we have to enjoy whenever we do get to have them around, and Tiffany sure did enjoy every minute!

These park pictures are backwards but I'm not going to mess with it. Last week we took advantage of the only GOOD day of the week (and the only day so far) and went to a playdate at Sugar house park. First we stopped to see the ducks, and tiff had this face (the one right above here). They were all over the place and she just wasn't feeling very comfortable. After that we went to the playground and she didn't start playing until the very end, but then you can see how much she loved it. She went up and down those slides non stop for at least 1/2 hour. I can't wait to start taking her out more, but here in Kamas we are still getting snow, so who knows when that will be!
Saturday was a busy busy day. I had to work in the morning because it was GAP Give and Get weekend, and after that we had a birthday party. It was a princess theme, and all the girls dressed up. It was so cute, they did a few fun activities including making bracelets, decorating cookies and the pinata. But I have to say that Tiff's favorite part was to play with the twin's little sister Camila. She sure is training well to be a big sister.
After that we decided to stop at Cabela's. It was Bryan's first time so I was excited for him, but it turned out to be even more fun for Tiffany. They both enjoyed looking at all the animals, and Tiff LOVED the aquarium. She stayed there the longest just following the fish around. It turned out to be a great family outing and to finish it off we went to eat at Olive Garden. We got home super late and I can't even tell how much pain I was in, but it was totally worth it...especially because we don't go out all that much as a family.

Recently...

This has been such a great accomplishment for us. I really wanted Tiffany out of her diapers before the baby was born, and I just kept going back and forth on when the right time would be. I guess I was just really intimidated by the idea and every little accident would make me give up. Until I finally made up my mind and decided I would try ANYTHING, not just following the "is she ready?" steps I had been reading. When she realized I was serious about it this time, it only took her a couple of weeks to give in. She did so great that it amazed me! I really thought we were done with this phase and we would never have to worry about it (even though she still wore pull up at night and some naps, but she would wake up mostly dry). HOWEVER, after she got sick and would eat (which also meant she would really go to the bathroom) for 3 days, things changed a little. She has had a couple of accidents again, and sometimes she will hold until she starts going and then asks to go potty. She is also getting her pull ups pretty full at night, so she has been waking up wet and refuses to go potty right away. That has been frustrating...having to take a few steps back and keep working on it. I hope she gets back to normal soon, but you know how toddlers are, they have their ups and downs!
We had a rough couple of weeks this month. I got sick first with a terrible cold, but I was still able to function, just rested a lot. Then right when I started to feel better, Tiffany started, but the poor girl got it so much worse. We have never seen her so sick, so it really scared us. We had to make a few trips to the Dr because at first they thought it was just viral so it would have to run its course, but then she had fever for three days and they decided to start her on antibiotics. We saw the improvement right away. I think what worries me the most is when she doesn't eat, so seeing her take one bite in three days was hard, but she went right back to her hungry self after the fever went away. It did mess us up though. I think she enjoyed being spoiled so much that we are still having to adjust back to her doing things on her own and being more obedient. She is definitely pushing limits now to see how much she test us. But after Tiffany started to feel better it was Bryan's turn. He got it almost as bad as she did, even had to miss work. Needless to say things around here have been just crazy, but I think we are finally starting to get back to normal.
Now to end on a good note...my growing belly. I know I haven't been taking pictures every week like I did with Tiffany. Life is just busier and I just forget. So yesterday I got ready to go to the Dr to check on our little boy, and decided to have Tiffany take some pictures. She loves playing with our camera and can actually take some pretty good shots, except she didn't seem able to get my head in there. So after we all got home, I asked Bryan to take a couple more. The visit to the Dr was good. She said I'm doing great with my weight (only gained 13 lbs so far), the baby's heart beat is good, and next time I'm going to do the glucose test (blah).

Last week we finally went to the pool again. I was worried because last time I went, it was freezing cold once I got out of the water, but this time it was actually really nice. Tiffany was so excited as soon as she saw the water and had a great time. It wasn't as fun for me because of my big belly, so I'm thinking that Bryan is going to have to take her after a while, or at least go with us for her to have more fun. We ended up not going this week because I got soooo sick with a cold, but hopefully we will go again next week.
