Summer time!

Yey! Now that we have more room we decided to get a grill so we can cook outside when it gets too hot. Of course it's not even close to getting hot around here, but this time of year always reminds us of barbecue and hamburgers! In this picture you can also see our beautiful backyard!! They are constructing a club house right behind us and I have no idea when they will get done. I'm sure it will be a while before we have a better view than this, but that's ok cuz we don't need to go out there anyways, except for the grill now! We are so in love with our new place, yesterday we brought all of our stuff that we had on storage and guess what? We have room for it all! I think now we are officially done with the moving process and everything is in its proper place! It feels so much better! Except that now I have a lot of homework to catch up on! Plust the midterms are coming up this week!! Ahhhh, I just want to get done with school!!

23 weeks!

Here I am at 23 weeks! My belly keeps getting bigger and the baby keeps moving more and more! So like my friend Aline was saying, it's kinda hard to call her she or baby girl all the time, we need to decide on the name too! But everytime I ask Bryan he says he hasn't decided yet. I'm pretty sure we already know what's going to be, but we haven't sat and decided it for sure! He keeps calling her Rebecca, and I pretty much gave up trying to convince him that I like Tiffany. So we'll see! We've been so busy too that we haven't put much thought into it, but now that she has her own bedroom and it's empty I want to start decorating and furnishing it! I don't even go much in there because it makes me want to have everything ready for her and makes me want her to come soon! But I still have a little ways to go and better not get too anxious! So for now I'm just trying to get our house organized and cleaned up (the dust from the construction is making me have allergies!)

Our new place!

After two days of intense work, cleaning, packing, unpacking, cleaning some more, we're finally moved into our new place! I still can't believe how fast it all happened!! Bryan and I are SO thankful for our friends that came and helped! We couldn't have done it without them! We still have a lot of work to do putting everything in its place and figuring out where to put stuff, but we have SO much more room that I'm sure we'll fit everthing! We just need some time to rest, cuz we're beyond exhausted!! I'll take more pictures once everything is organized so you can see! I LOVE it, it's so cute and cozy!!!

We're MOVING!!!

So we didn't think we would be able to move to our new place until the end of the month because of the 30 day notice we had to give to our current managers, but they called us today wondering if we could move out earlier because there's people wanting to move in ASAP. So we got everything figured out and we're moving TOMORROW! Just like that! It's kinda crazy, but I'm so excited to get into our new place that I don't really care!! We already went and got a bunch of boxes and I've been packing ever since! I think we'll be fine for the most part except when I start working too hard my belly gets a little hard. I wish I could help out more, I feel bad for Bryan that will need to do most of the work...but hopefully we'll have some help with the heavy stuff! Anyways, just thought I would take a break and tell the news!! I still have a lot of work to do!!

Beautiful Day!

Today was beautiful and SO warm (finally!). Our favorite thing to do in days like this is go to the park, have a picnic, lay on the grass, play frisbee, and go for a walk! So we did it all today!! We packed some lunch and headed to the park! It was also a great way to get some exercise since my back is starting to hurt SO bad...last night I didn't sleep good at all. Some nights there's no comfortable position and I stay wide awake. So the best thing to do is walk around and try to strech my back the best way I can. I guess I'll just have to do what I can for the next few months cuz this little girl is getting bigger every day! It's amazing that doesn't matter how bad I hurt, as soon as she starts moving it all goes away! She's SO active now, it's amazing! Before I could feel her sometimes during the day and kinda in the same spot, but now I feel her legs kicking, her arms moving, and I feel all of her movements! I love it!!

Here is a video of our little princess. Her hand is next to her face, it almos looks like she's sucking her thumb but she's facing the screen. I just love seeing her move, it makes it all much more real!

It's a GIRL!

So after much anxiety and much guessing we finally found out that we are having a little girl!! I'm surprised at how many people guessed right! The ultrasound was the most amazing thing ever! We could see her so well! Bryan recorded the whole thing plus the nurse gave us a dvd with all the images!! She was moving a lot and didn't let us get a good picture of her face, so the only 4D image we were able to get was of her little legs and feet, which are also adorable! She's doing great, everything looks as it should, and we are so happy!

So tomorrow is the big day!! We go in for the ultrasound in the morning. I've been doing good all week, just going day by day. But today I'm so anxious I don't know if I'll be able to sleep. I can't wait to see how big my baby is. Last ultrasound we could barely tell where the head was, he/she was so tiny that it looked more like a rice grain! But now it's so developed and it can even hear us! That's just amazing to me. Life's already changed for us! We have so much to look forward to and so many good things are happening in our lives! We are so blessed! But I'm gonna try and get some rest now!! I'll be back tomorrow with the big news!!! So many people voted...let's see who was right!!!

My work

So my computer is the one with ALL the pictures except the most recent ones, but it's not working! I took it today to see if someone can figure out what's wrong with it and I wanna cry because I need my pictures at least! Until we get it fixed, I'll need to keep taking new pictures or fiding random ones in Bryan's computer, like this one! This is my most recent work. I did this bridal bouquet for a girl in my branch. She wanted it pretty simple, which I love because it's more elegant! Bridal bouquets are my favorite!! This semester I don't have any flower classes, so I'm pretty sad...I miss working with them, and instead I'm having to catch bugs for a pest control class. I'll have to show you my colection, it's disgusting!

Daddy and Baby

So here is Bryan having his first contacts with the baby. I started to feel the baby move really well in about a week, and Bryan was able to feel as well. But since the baby doensn't move constantly, yet, it's harder for bryan to catch the movement at the right time. Also we read that the baby can hear us now and will be able to recognize our voices, so we make sure to talk to him. By the way, whenever I refer to the baby as he, everybody thinks its because I'm having a boy, but masculine is general, right? So until we find out what it is I say 'he'. I think we almost have decided on a boy and a girl name. It's been a long process, but we are nailing it down to two one for each.

So this is the most updated picture of my belly. I took it Monday, so I was exactly 19 weeks. Next week I'll be 5 months and will finally be able to know if we are having a boy or a girl, so VOTE ON THAT POLL RIGHT THERE. We will let everyone know as soon as we find out, so let's hope the baby will be willing to let us know! As far as names, we have a few options, but nothing set. I never thought it would be so hard to pick a name. Sure, we can just pick any name we want, but there's so many complications... What if he/she doesn't like, what if it's too hard to pronounce in English or Portuguese, and so on! But we'll get there!
